Room for Friendship
Published December 25, 2024
I have a few good friends who don’t share much common ground. On paper, we should not be friends.
A key ingredient seems to be they don’t require me to be like them or to align with them, and I am the same toward them. It works. We leave room for the other person to be a person.
And I don’t assign them a role to play in my drama. They aren’t put on a pedestal.
Just thinking out loud.
