Step 1: Authentication and Setup

1. Obtain API Access:
   • Log into your Canvas LMS account as an instructor.
   • Navigate to your profile settings (usually under "Account" or a similar menu).
   • Look for a section related to "Approved Integrations" or "API Tokens."
   • Generate a new API token. This token is your key to access the Canvas API.
   • Save it somewhere secure.
