1. Introduction

Before: ODR. --- After: Promise
I used to ride in the back of an airplane for the Air Force. When an accident would occur, the Air Force would stop for the day and have safety briefings to avoid repeating the accident. I have lost the specific details over time, but one safety briefing was a larger aircraft that had a crew of 3 people. A blinking light alerted the crew to a dangerous problem. The flight crew went into action searching for a solution. They were highly trained experts, but no one took the time to look out the window. The plane flew into a mountain. My job in this context, today, is to look out the window for you.
My name is Greg Dyche. My wife has a great game she plays when meeting someone new. She sees how long the conversation can continue without asking the standard question, "What do you do?" I, like you, am more than what I do. I am a husband (over 26 years). I am a father of 6, a college professor, and a friend. You can look me up on LinkedIn too.
I guide people toward an ordinary day worth living.
Start today from where you are with what you have. Get going. Start small with a draft, and you can adjust as you go. Write down some ideas as you read and put them into practice. If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing ugly.
